I am an artist from Rhode Island, currently residing in Seattle, Washington. I create abstract paintings on paper and wood, inspired by color, the beauty and intricacy of fluvial landforms, and the powerful sense of movement and energy in the natural world.
As a child I spent endless hours outside, playing in the woods behind my house. I explored natural spaces, learning about plants and trees, and connecting with the world around me. From a very young age, I loved to create drawings and paintings of nature. While I went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Hydrology and now work in horticulture, my passion for art remained strong. My love for nature has grown over the years as I spend much of my free time hiking, traveling, and always planning the next adventure.
I strive to create works of art that embrace and exhibit these parts of me and hope to create in a way that allows the viewer to feel connected to the energy of the surrounding world, as well as themselves.
